Srinagar: The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar offers a glimpse into the region’s rich culture and heritage. Leh: This high-altitude desert town is a popular destination for trekking, mountain biking, and exploring Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. Houseboats: A unique feature of Kashmir are the intricately decorated houseboats, offering a luxurious way to experience life on the serene backwaters. Cuisine: Kashmiri cuisine is a delight for the senses, known for its aromatic spices, rich flavors, and use of local ingredients like walnuts, saffron, and trout. Day 1: Reach Srinagar

Kickstart your holidays in Srinagar Post-arrival to Srinagar airport, you will be driven for a 35-minute journey to the heart of the Srinagar city. Reach North-west frontier of Kashmir, crossing the Jhelum River over the Abdullah bridge. On reaching the hotel, check-in formalities will be carried after which you can proceed for dinner. Later, spend the night at Srinagar.

Day 2: A drive to Sonamarg

A day at the ‘Meadow of Gold’ Post a sumptuous breakfast, and we start our day 2 with a drive towards Sonamarg. On the way to Sonamarg valley, you can enjoy watching the picturesque countryside – the snow-clad mountains, the green forests, the rolling hills, crystal clear streams of water and the vast rice fields. You will drive past the Kangan town which is the local market for the residents, and Marmar which is known for its trout field. We will descend from our vehicles at Gagangir, a favorite tourist spot that is wrapped with snow-capped mountains from all the sides. We take a 3-hour walk or cab/horseback ride in Sonamarg to the Thajiwas glacier, a significant attraction in Sonamarg for its beautiful meadows. On returning, we visit the local market for some snacks and for exploring the way local people spend their life there. We drive back to Srinagar for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3: Gulmarg excursion

A day at Gulmarg You will begin your day 3 with a morning breakfast followed by checkout formalities at the hotel and head towards Gulmarg – the ‘Meadow of Flowers’. This drive will take you past the growing rice fields and vibrant villages of the Kashmir Valley. We arrive at Tangmarg, a colourful market town and then proceed towards Gulmarg. We can opt for Gondola cable car (at your cost) wherein the 8-minute ropeway will offer you stunning views of the mountain ranges nearby on its way from the Shepherd huntsmen to the lower ridge of the Afarwat peak. Return to the Gulmarg hotel for a night stay.

Day 4: Pahalgram Fixture

A drive to Pahalgam Post morning breakfast, you start your journey towards Pahalgam. The drive will take you through Pampore where you can visit the famous saffron fields. We drive past the Awantipora and the Bijbehara village known as the breadbasket of Kashmir. We switch from the National Highway 1A at Khanabal to proceed towards Pahalgam through the second largest city Anantnag. Pahalgam is mainly known for the fantastic landscape, the beautiful scenery of green forests, clear water streams and pretty mountains. You will have a night stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5: Second Day in Pahalgram

Enjoy beautiful sights from Valleys. After having a morning breakfast, you can visit the famous Betaab valley gives heavenly pleasure girdled with mountain ranges and pine and deodar forests. You can visit the famous Aru valley that offers some fantastic scenery that has beautiful lakes, lush meadows and mountains. Chandanwari is the starting point for Amarnath yatra and is a popular hiking destination. You can also enjoy a horse ride to Baisaran meadows. Later in the evening, head back to the hotel in Pahalgam for night stay.

Day 6: Back to Srinagar

A Day at the Gardens and a Night in Houseboat We begin our day with morning breakfast and then return to Srinagar for local sightseeing. You will proceed towards the world famous Mughal gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring) and Shalimar that the Mughals build in the 16th century close to the banks of Lake Dal amidst the Srinagar city and Shankaracharya temple situated on a hillock offering sight to a magnificent portrait of the whole city. Visit the handloom centre famous for the world-reckoned Pashmina/ Shahtoosh shawls and carpets. Enjoy an overnight at the houseboat. Later, you can go for a Shikara ride.

Day 7: Last Day of your Kashmir trip

Return with delightful Kashmir memories Your last day at Kashmir will begin with a healthy morning breakfast followed by transfer to the Srinagar airport. You will thoroughly relish your stay in Kashmir.
